Enterprise

We created a card for Cancer Care, which is a nationwide campaign to raise money for the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity. We used a wide range of materials and craft skills to create individually designed cards.

Airport Technology

We designed and built our 3D model of an airport including the terminal, control tower and aircraft hangers. We used a variety of materials and worked together as a team to produce our model.

Christmas Around the World

Using the Joyning the Learning Approach, we studied Christmas Around the World for a mini topic before Christmas. Having studied Glasgow Airport as our first topic, we then learnt about how different countries aorund the world celebrated Christmas. This was a great way to get into the Christmas spirit.

Christmas Fayre Enterprise Crafts

Creating fridge magnets and tree decorations to sell at our Christmas Fayre proved to be a very popular project. The creative skills of our class are shown in the pictures and helped to raise a fantastic amount at the Fayre.

Enterprise Challenge

We used our Enterprising skills to create models of healthy in-flight meals as part of our Glasgow Airport topic. Using a Critical Skills approach, we worked in groups to create a healthy menu for an in-flight meal which we then recreated as a model by designing and creating the meal using recycled materials.
